Ver eva cassidy: one night that changed everything Cuevana 3. Twenty-five years ago, an obscure singer named Eva Cassidy and her producer pooled their limited funds to record a live performance and self-release an album. This is the story of one unforgettable night, January 3, 1996, at a jazz club in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. It’s the tale of a set of recordings that nearly didn’t happen, and the remarkable success that followed, as told by the band members who shared the stage with her that night.
